Wallace & Company renovated the existing 46-unit Crystal Lodge hotel into a 66-unit boutique hotel and suites, while maintaining access to the main floor retail tenants. The project required complete removal of the roof, upper exterior walls, interior finishes, and upper floors, followed by selective demolition of interior walls and structural elements.
New seismic and structural components were constructed, including floors, roof, and stair and elevator shafts. Upgrades featured modern building envelope technology, three-star room and suite finishes, a grand lobby, and extensive timber and stone detailing throughout the hotel.
