Wallace & Company removed interior finishes and mechanical and electrical services to allow for the safe removal of hazardous materials containing spray-applied fireproofing on the underside of the floor assembly. Following abatement, a new 2-hour FRR spray was applied, and all services and finishes were restored to their previous condition.
Although the immediate area was cleared for construction, the work took place within an active hospital environment, requiring careful planning and coordination.
